Pané Rustica is a wholesale and retail bakery and restaurant specializing in the traditional, hearth baked breads of Italy and France.
We are a scratch bakery. Most of our breads are made with only flour, water, salt, and sourdough cultures (the "wild" yeasts) or "poolish" starters. As a result, they are wholesome as well as tasty. This olde world style of bread baking creates an extremely flavorful bread with a distinctive texture and crispy crust.
All of the flour in our breads is unbleached and unbromated. We add no dough improvers or conditioners or preservatives of any kind.
Pané Rustica Wholesale Bakery delivers 7000 pounds of bread per week to discerning restaurants in the Tampa Bay Area.
